| Bio: | Hi. I'm currently writing HP fanfiction, in particular one massive story, the Sacrifices Arc, that's an AU of all seven years of school. It begins with "Saving Connor" and is archived at Fanfiction.Net. I've tried to take several clichés (among them Harry being Sorted into Slytherin and having a twin brother who is deemed to be the Boy-Who-Lived) and write a story that's both good and has rounded characterization.

I've created this journal mainly as a place to post review replies, since FF.net is picky about what they count as author's notes in stories. I may also post ramblings about the AU, though since I don't want to ruin certain parts of the plot, they'll probably be more detailed explications of things that have already happened in the fic itself.
Content Warnings: This journal refers to characters, places, and events created by J. K. Rowling. It is a fanfic journal. I don't claim to own any of them, I certainly don't profit from them, and I'm not interested in arguments about how fanfiction is sheerly plagiarism or the "rape" of an author's work.
Also, this journal will contain adult content and discussion of adult content, including violence, offensive language, and sex (both heterosexual and homosexual). If you're younger than the laws of your area deem appropriate to be reading it, on your head be it. Also, everyone who wants to argue that homosexuality and/or writing slash is "wrong" should know right now that I'm a) an atheist, so I don't care about or believe in a god, and b) a lesbian, so I'm not going to believe you anyway.
And I can't believe I feel like I have to say this, really, but I'm not going to listen to any arguments that consist of "EW Het!" either. While the Massive Freakin' AU has a primary slash pairing (Harry/Draco), it will have background het pairings, and I plan to be writing both slash and het ficlets in the future. I read both, so I see no reason that I can't write both.
There. With luck, that will keep me out of any arguments that are entirely stupid and unreasonable. All others are welcome. |
